B33R Community on location…Heirloom Vegetarian
First introduced visually, via Instagram, our relationship with Heirloom started nearly a year ago. The vegetarian and vegan spot located in the South Granville area occupies a beautiful space that captures natural light during the day, and transforms into a cozy romantic fun date or group go-to in the evening.
Efforts to stay as local as possible means being aware and standing behind who’s growing your food, in turn, their growing practices and the familiarity behind that. Heirloom creates an energy that exudes this kind of familiarity, and is visited regularly by both veggie and meat lovers alike. The mentality around being socially and worldly conscious is shared, embraced and encouraged rather than judged.
The plant-based menu doesn’t for a minute mean there is any lack in flavour. A favourite nibble is the avocado frites, brightly balanced with a tall glass of Sunshine, meanwhile their seasonal burger made from scratch pairs extremely well aside a kale ceasar, yam fries and glass of Ocean.
