- What are some of the spaces available?
We have a space in both Vancouver and Calgary for bookings.
33 Brewing Experiment (33B) – 25 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC
33 Acres (33C) – #120 224 12 Ave SW, Calgary, AB
- What is the maximum reservation / buyout size?
Vancouver – has a maximum capacity of 60 people. We also offer half room bookings, with a max capacity of 30 people.
Calgary – has a maximum capacity of 32 on the mezzanine, 60 inside and 90 on the patio.
- What can we do for food?
For Large parties we offer a Grazing Board. This will scale in price and size based on customer request. It includes hand selected cheeses and cured meats served with local jams, nuts and freshly toasted sourdough, baked salted pretzels with mustard, and kettle cooked chips with an onion dip. We recommend a starting point of $10-$15 per person.

We’re open to bringing catering in, but this does not count towards your minimum spend, and clean up charges will apply if this creates excessive mess.
For our Calgary location, we work closely with Central Taps and can have their catering guide sent to you.
- Are kids allowed?
Yes, kids are allowed in the company of an adult.

In accordance with British Columbia Liquor Laws and Serving It Right / all guests consuming alcohol must be over the age of 19 years old and hold a minimum of two valid forms of government issued identification.
RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL: ALBERTA
In accordance with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis and ProServe, all guests consuming alcohol must be over the age of 18 years old and hold a minimum of two valid forms of government issued identification.
- How does Minimum Spend work?
Minimum spend is the minimum amount that you must spend to secure a private booking of the space. The space (or partial space) will be exclusively yours during the opening hours of the brewery. Each day has a minimum spend which changes based on the day of the week and the season. Drinks by the glass, and 33 Acres food consumed during your visit counts towards the minimum spend. Merchandise, gift cards, food to go, beer to go/off sales do not count towards the minimum spend and would be charged separately at point of sale.
Please note: The minimum spend is subject to applicable taxes and an 18% Gratuity.
The minimum spend can work two ways:
- Guests pay as they go and if you do not reach the minimum spend, any difference will be charged to the credit card on file.
- The minimum spend is charged to one card.
- When will we be charged for the event?
You will be charged either at the time of the event or within 2 business days of the event, and receive an itemized receipt within 2 business days of the event.
- What is your cancellation policy?
Events cancelled within thirty (30) days of the scheduled date will be charged 50% of the minimum spend/fee.
Events cancelled within twenty-one (21) days of the scheduled date will be charged 100% of the minimum spend/fee.
