33 Acres Brewing Company is looking for motivated individuals to join our packaging team! This position is at our Vancouver production facility, centrally located in the Mount Pleasant area. We produce and package craft beer for distribution throughout BC and beyond in bottles, cans and kegs.

As a Packaging Operator you will:
– Perform Opening and Closing Duties of both the Bottling and Canning line, when scheduled to do so by the Packaging Manager.
– Be able to perform minor maintenance as required during the operation of a production line.
– Be able to efficiently perform changeover on the canning line in a timely manner.
– Prepare packaging materials, assemble packaged products and prepare for warehousing, distribution or retail.
– Be responsible for the assigned team working on the line with you, helping with position rotation and organizing lunch breaks.
– Be able to accurately record production numbers on the correct paperwork and logged into EKOS brewery software.
– Perform all activities affecting beer quality in accordance with company standards, procedures and specifications
– Assist with performing measurements to check product is ready and in condition to be packaged in accordance with specifications including carbonation levels, temperature and dissolved oxygen.
– Ensure cleanliness and organization of all packaging, material storage, loading and waste disposal areas
– Perform keg cleaning and filling operations as required
– Operate forklift as required to assist company needs
– Help to keep our breweries clean and tidy

– Shows initiative and is self motivated
– Understands basic mechanical processes
– Able to complete work of a physical nature, including working on their feet for long periods of time, repeatedly lifting and moving heavy loads.
Hours and Pay:
Tuesday to Friday, 10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
Starting pay range $20-$20 per hour
