Friends, conversation, beer and the search for waves are the 4 things that every surf trip is bound to either have to much of or not enough of. Being in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Haida Gwaii, was the perfect balance of all. A mystical place, full of life, scenery and endless beaches. Isolated from our normal routines we set out to discover.
Arriving on the island I felt different. It was like something connected me to nature that I’ve never felt before. Old and new friends helped with keeping quiet moments more eventful, so did the beer, but there were many moments of peace and solitude. Haida Gwaii, I will see you soon.
